DEVELOPMENT WEEKEND :

24^th April Development Match and Training for Table officials and Referees from

11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at The Walnuts, Orpington

25^th April Home v Devon Otters The Walnuts Tip Off 3 p.m

The Development Day could not have gone off more perfectly. On Saturday the 24th April We had a development tournement in Orpington which is 20 miles South East of London. We won all our matches and are the top Development team in the South East of England. We will now go to a tournement in May to play the top teams from the other regions and if we win those we will be in the Third Division.

The following day our Third Division Team played a team called the Devon Otters. We had suffered our worst defeat at their hands in the first match. It was a very exciting match match it was close all the way to the end. We finally won and finished second in the Third Division we missed out on promotion this season. We had gone through the first phase of group matches unbeaten, then in the second phase suffered three defeats in a row. It has been a fantastic season. It was fantastic weekend the champaigne was flowing, because some of us missed our mouths!
