Reggie White aged 43 died Sunday, Dec. 26, 2004,
at his home in Cornelius, N.C.

- Packers retire Reggie White's No. 92 on 18 Sept. 2005
- University of Tennessee also retire Reggie White's No. 92 on 18 Sept. 2005
- Eagles complete the process on December 5, 2005 by retiring No. 92 in honor of the late great Reggie White.

White elected to Pro Football Hall of Fame: February 4, 2006
White in good company for August 5th enshrinement

I was deeply saddened by the passing of the greatest defensive linesman ever to play the game of football. I wish to pass on sincere condolences to his wife, Sara, to his children Jeremy & Jecolia, and to all those who have been touched by Reggie throughout his life. The legacy of Reggie both on and off the football field will never be forgotten.
