Do You Remember...?

In The Beginning....
In January 1982, the five Goldbeck brothers (Paul, Bob, Mike, Gil and John) and two of their brothers-in-law (John Snyder and Rick Belcher) decided they had had enough of 140 game softball seasons and Manager/Coaches who brought in the "Big Guns" to win "important" games, while they languished on the pine because of a lack of Home-run power (and look at us now almost 20 years later!?)
"No Mas" they declared and they dug up the money to form their own team, installed their own Player/Manager, and gathered some of the best darn ball players (??) from the ranks of their friends, roommates, associates and relatives to fill out the roster. Men like
- Bob "Kub" Koebke
- Bob "Turk" O'Connell,
- Bernie "The Hammer" Stehle,
- Dave "I can Play this game" Belcher,
- Steve "Mr. Catcher" Overton
and others, helped form the backbone of what turned out to be America's Best Mediocre Softball Team, and is ready to celebrate their 18th year in 1999, and in the year 2000, will go into their 3rd decade together.
