This page will give explanations of the types of bearings and there real performance effects on the yo.
All my yo's have ABEC3 bearings that I get from a local hobby shop in my area. They appear to be the same as the Team Losi bearing that I have in my Cherry Bomb. I've been very pleased with the performance. From my experience, they seem to be more consistant over their life; whereas the Yomega bearings I've found loose their performance more noticably and sooner than the ABEC3 bearings. I'm talking a lot of use, not just and occasional session. Keep that in mind if/when you think you want to upgrade the bearings.
Here are a list of ABEC7 bearings, that will work on most bearing yo's.
