The Abu Dhabi International Airport is approximately 18 km from the bowling center and approximately 30 km from the city center.
National Flags and Anthems
All participating countries are required to provide three (3) National Flags (1 meter by 2 meters) and one audio tape copy of their national anthem to the Emirates Bowling Federation by November 1, 1999.

Doping Control
There will be random doping tests administered throughout the event. All federations are encouraged to refer to section F of the FIQ handbook for general guidelines regarding doping. In addition, please see the attached letter from WTBA Secretary General Rune Widell on this subject.
Fees
Entry fees have been waived for all participants by the Emirates Bowling Federation.
Special Airfare Rates
The Emirates Bowling Federation is currently negotiating with Malaysia Airlines and Gulf Air to secure reduced rates for flights to Abu Dhabi. A charter flight may also be arranged from Miami to accommodate the South American federations. When the negotiations are complete, all member federations will be notified.
Deadline for Forms to be received
Entry forms are due in the Emirates Bowling Federation office no later than September 15, 1999. Final player list, player information forms and individual photos must be received no later than October 15, 1999.
