If I could be G.M. of the Spurs for a day I'd: Give myself a long term contract. Gene has ran Spurs Central since its birth back in 1998. He's a passionate Spurs fan who never misses a game thanks to ESPN International and WOAI's Spurs Coverage. When he's not talking Spurs on the web or working on his websites he enjoys playing and coaching basketball, watching sport on TV and drinking the two finest beers in the world, Kilkenny and Caffreys.

Painting and listening to music. I've been a Spurs fan since: 1986, you could not give away seats to the Hemisfair then. Favorite Spurs player: AJ. Favorite Non-Spur Player: Eddie Jones, Ray Allen. If I could be G.M. of the Spurs for a day I'd: I would lock up Tim Duncan under contract until he collects Social Security. Spurn has been a Spurs fan since he started liking basketball. Although, school has taken him away from San Antonio, he vows to return one day as a season ticket holder.

Favorite Spurs player: Tim Duncan Favorite Non-Spur Player: Penny Hardaway, Latrell Sprewell, Jason Kidd, Allen Iverson. If I could be G.M. of the Spurs for a day I'd: Make myself the newest 100 Million Dollar Man. Tom runs an NBA focused site called In The Paint. He has been running it Since June '98. Tom continually helps out Hoffy with some of the great looking graphics on Spurs Central.

D.O.B. 10th of August, 1970. Location: Austin, TX. Hobbies: Beth (my wife), Basketball, Flag Football, Computers, Reading. I've been a Spurs fan since: 1983 - my first game in Hemisfair Favorite Spurs player: Changes from year to year. Presently Malik Rose gets the honor. In recent years it has been Willie, David, Sean, Doc, Will and Avery. Favorite Non-Spur Player: None If I could be G.M. of the Spurs for a day I'd: I'd bring in Doc or Dave Cowens to coach the Spurs. I think Popovich is a competent coach, but I don't think he is a very nice guy. To me, that is still important. Bill has been a spurs fan since the twilight of Gervin's career in 1983. He remembers fondly the days of Hemisfair arena, the Baseline Bums and obstructed view seating. His favorite Spur of all-time is still Ice and his most disliked teams are the Lakers, Jazz and Rockets in that order. His favorite single game is the day that David went for 71 against the Clippers and his least favorite is game seven of the 1990 playoffs against Portland when Rod strickland made, "The Pass".

Favorite Spurs player: AJ, Mario, David, and T-Dunc. Favorite Non-Spur Player: Kobe, Spree, Iverson. If I could be G.M. of the Spurs for a day I'd: First, go get my knees and ankles worked on. Second, find some way to get an arena built. Joe Ruiz worked as a sports intern/associate producer for KENS-TV Sports in San Antonio and also worked for KENS-AM Radio. He now majors in broadcast journalism at SAC.

But I'll only be a Spurs fan until the end of the playoffs! Favorite Spurs player: David Robinson, Sean Elliot and new favorites Mario Elie, Jaren Jackson and Malik Rose Favorite Non-Spur Player: Kevin Johnson, Jason Kidd, Googs etc, anyone who's currently wearing a Suns jersey! If I could be G.M. of the Spurs for a day I'd: I'd trade Duncan and Elliot and Robinson to the Suns for absolutely nothing! Brain Cho is a big Suns fan who roots for the Spurs whenever they aren't playing the Suns. D.O.B. 25th of May, 1982. Location: Adelaide, Australia. Hobbies: Basketball, Surfing the Web, Watching old and new comedy sitcoms, having a good time, Video editing. I've been a Spurs fan since: 1993 - When John Lucas coached the Spurs Favorite Spurs players: Tim Duncan, Sean Elliott and David Robinson. Favorite Non-Spur Player: Vince Carter, Shaquille O'Neal. If I could be G.M. of the Spurs for a day I'd: Make myself a player/coach. I would be a coach like Larry Bird, I would let my assistant's do the work. Popovich would be my assistant and he and Hank Egan would stress defence to the team, and Paul Pressey and Mike Budenholzer will be in charge of offence. My coaching role would be to purely motivate the Spurs to play and win, and play minutes when we are blowing out teams Matthew has written for the Spurs Central since its inaugural year in 1998. He has helped break new stories on the site, such as the Spurs signing of Andrew Gaze. He's been a Spurs fan through the good and bad times who never misses hearing or viewing (when it comes on Australian TV)a game and tries to get the results of each game any way he can. He also enjoys playing basketball and getting as many Spurs matches on tape as he can.
