Sensei Willie Hernandez is the direct student of Sensei Cecil Peoples from California.He is also a member of the P.R.P.D.& is active teaching in his Dojo located in Mayaguez Puerto Rico.He & his busines administrator Carmencita leads a big group of Hawaiian-Kenpo(Cecil People's Branch)in the west coast of Puerto Rico.Sensei Willie has some Black Belts in Anasco P.R.,Valle Hermoso P.R.,San Sebastian P.R.& Miami Florida.Just to mention a few;this are:Sensei Humbert,Sensei Pablo Quintana,Sensei Alicia & Sensei Carlos Rodriguez(Fla).Sensei Willie's students have won many Championships here in P.R.,U.S.A.& a year ago in Guatemala where his Team won to the Italian/Guatemaltecan/Mexican Team & became the Champs of the Tournament.Here,Sensei Willie appears with his kids who loves him as a father.More to come in an update of this web soon.

The P.R.C.P.K.-Hawaiian-Kenpo Team traveled to Los Angeles California to compete in Sensei Cecil People's March Madness Open Karate Tournament in the year 2,000.The Team was composed of students & Black Belts from the towns of Mayaguez,Anasco & San Sebastian.From Miami Florida came Sensei Carlos Rodriguez who is the direct Student Black Belt of Sensei Willie Hernandez.The P.R.Kenpo Team roared like tigers at the Tournament & almost all of the participants won one or two prizes.They were well recieved from all the brothers in the art there.This year Sensei Willie Hernandez was promoted by his Kenpo Master Sensei Cecil Peoples to the rank of 7th Degree Black Belt in C.P.K.(Kenpo Karate).Also some Black Belts of Sensei Willie were promoted by Sensei Peoples too in this March'2,000.All students present at this great tournament are proud of their Senseis from P.R. for their promotions that are very important for Puerto Rico & the students that could not make it to California this year.Sensei Willie's students did great in this tournament like Carlos Comas for example.More to come in next updates.
