1. How old are
you?
A woman never
tells her age.
2. Who are your
sponsors?
Toy Machine,
TSA clothing, Etnies, and Landspeed Wheels.
3. Where were
you born and where do you live right now?
I was born in
Fort Myers, Fl., but now i live in Huntington Beach, CA.
4. When did you
start skateboarding, and what made you want to start?
I started skateboarding
when I was about twelve with my friend Sylvan that lived next to me.
5. Who was your
first sponsor?
My first free
skateboard was given to me by Barker Barrett. After that Lance Mountain
gave me free boards for a while. My first real sponsor was Toy Machine.
6. Influences?
Sean Sheffey,
Guy Mariano, Matt Hensley, Frankie Hill, and several others.
7.When did you
turn pro?
I turned pro
in April of 1998.
8. Do you like
it? (being pro)
Yeah, it is
probably one of the best things that ever happened to me.
9. Do you wish
there was more competition from female pro's?
No, because
then i wouldn't have a job.
10. Is your family
supportive of your skateboarding?
Yes, my family
is very supportive.
11. What's it
like touring with the Toy Machine team?
It is great,
everyone on the team is really cool.
12. Did you have
fun filming for the last video?
Filming is kind
of sketchy sometimes, because sometimes you feel like you have to land
a trick or you suck. I did have fun filming for it and I do have fun filming.
I don't do it as much as I used to, but when I do film and I land a trick
it is one of the best feelings.
13. What's wrong

Nothing is wrong
with skateboarding. If you are talking about the industry, the thing wrong
with that is that a lot of people get ripped off.
14. What's right
with skateboarding? What gets you stoked?
Everything is
right with skateboarding. Just being on my board and feeling like
I'm supposed to be on my board gets me psyched.

ever broken any bones skating?
Oh yeah. Ive
broken my wrist and my hand.

Thrashin.

see yourself doing ten years from now?
Probably the
same thing that I'm doing now.
20. Do you get
approached by other girls, asking you for your advice on skating? How does
that make you feel and what do you say?
I really don't
get approached by that many girls that ask me about skating. If I did I
guess that I would just tell them, if they like to skate all they should
do is skate and learn on their own. That's how everybody else does
it.
Any last words?
Thanks to everyone. |
