Run For ALS
In the summer of 2000m, Tucson runner David Filer was diagnosed
with ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) also known as Lou
Gehrig's Disease. ALS is a devastating neuromuscular disease that
strikes adults in the prime of life. The cause of this deadly
disease is still a mystery. There is no treatment and no cure. A
10K inline skate is at 7:30 AM. A 2K kid's run at 8:15 AM. A 5K
run and fitness walk on a USATF certified course at 8:45 AM. For

The Sabino Canyon Sunset Run is a unique 7.4 mile event that winds
its way into (and out of) Sabino Canyon in the Catalina Mountains.
Known as one of Arizona's most beautiful running venues, the US
Forest Service has graciously opened the canyon for this annual
organized running event. Interested? This run is limited to the
first 200 entrants and spots fill up fast. Race starts at 5:45 PM.
