Chris Anderson is the director and head instructor
for U.F.S. Academy of Martial Arts. He is the 1996-1997 A.A.U. national Sombo Team Captian gold medalist, 1997 north central U.S. modified combat Sombo gold medalist, 1996 A.A.U. Captial Games Sombo middle weight gold medalist. Chris holds a 3rd degree blackbelt in both Russian and American combat sombo,under grandmaster Mark Densberger.A purple belt, and certified instructor in brazilian jiu-jitsu under Pedro Carvalho, a full instructor in J.K.D.Concepts, and Filipino Martial arts under sifu Tom Cruse,Phase one instructor in JKD concepts under Paul Vunak, certified instructor in the Jun Fan Fighting arts under sifu Lamar Davis II, a certified Muay Thai Trainer under American Thai Boxing Council president Kru Tony Moore of England, and is IFMA certified Muay Thai official under ajarn Fred Fitzgerald.Chris served as the Defensive Tatical Consultant for Norfolk's Police Departments RED SECTOR Division for 1998-1999.
Mr.Anderson is available for seminars, workshops, P.H.I.T.(personal high intensity training)programs, private and semi private lessons, and law enforcement training programs.

U.F.S.Academy if the only certified Academy in Hampton Roads certified to teach all aspects of Bruce Lee's Jun Fan Arts, Original Jeet Kune Do,Jun Fan Jeet Kune Do and the Jeet Kune Do Concepts. U.F.S. is dedicated to the teachings, training methods, and philosophies of Bruce Lee's fighting system. J.K.D. is the science of streetfighting and teaches the student to develop the necessary attributes required to survive a violent encounter. J.K.D. trains under realistic conditions and provides the practitioner a complete fighting system. J.K.D. allows individual freedom under combative conditions, in all ranges of combat. At U.F.S. we focus on the students Individuality, and not on mass production.
