The World of Martial Arts
Martial Arts: The Sport of Honor
If you are a martial artist, then you know that martial arts is about more than fighting. It's about self-improvement, discipline, and honor.

Right now I am studying several styles.

TaeKwonDo: An external Korean art with mostly linear movements.My personal favorite.

Judo:A well organized system of unarmed techniques, primarily based of leverage throws and holds.

Aikido: Aikido techniques are employed to neutralize the attacker by taking advantage of body dynamics.

Tai Chi: A style I have grown to like.Sometimes called "moving meditation", the slow movements in this style allow for better concentration, which increases chances of successs.

]
PaSaRyu: Developed in Korea in 1956 by our own Grand Master, Master Kang Rhee. This style combines Kung Fu and TaeKwonDo.

What it takes....
You can't just walk into a dojo expecting to spend a few minutes a day kicking a bag around and get your black belt. You have to be dedicated and sometimes spend hours practicing katas and techniques.

Did you know.....
The left side of the uniform goes on top, because everything in the Orient goes from East to West.
]

If the right side of your uniform is on top, it is a symbol that you are dead.

When you punch, your fist should twist, because your target's head is not square. Twisting an almost guarantee that you hit your mark.
