When we got to the Horizon, because he wasn't advertised on the card, I knew that Shawn wasn't going to be there. BUT, I hoped, in my heart, somehow, he was going to be there. I didn't loose hope but at the same time, I didn't want to hope too much either. As we were waiting in line outside the Horizon, I heard that this particular show might be televised. I was like, what a treat this will be. I got confirmation about that when we got inside that indeed, it was going to be. Anyway, our seats were great!! It was better from the seats we had the first time we went to watch the WWF the year before. Not that those seats were bad, but for this show, I actually got to sit by the railing, down the aisle. It was close, eventhough still not close enough, it was close to the superstars. A few minutes after we got seated, they started to show footage on the screens above. They showed Shawn from the RAW is WAR, the past Monday, and they also showed the video of Shawn's "SEXY BOY." After Jim Ross and Jim Cornette came out, Shawn was the first superstar to come out. When his music started playing, I didn't know what to do. I stood up from my seat, grabbed my camera and just started to take photos. Because of where I was sitting, I could have been able to touch his hand but I couldn't because, I've got such short arms :( and plus, he was carrying a chair in his hand. He ended up coming out twice that night. The first time he came out, he was interviewed by Jim Ross. After that interview, as he was making his way back to the locker room, there was a guy that heckled him. This guy was dressed up like the Undertaker. Lucky for me, the guy ended up behind me so when Shawn stopped and talked, if you will, to this guy, he was like right in front of me. I didn't waste my chance. It could be the only one I'll have. I started taking photos of Shawn. I couldn't believe how close the photos were when I got them back. I was a little worried that they might not turn out very clear because just before I started to take the photos, I adjusted my flash real quick because I didn't want the flash, being too close, to bother Shawn. Also, I didn't think they would turn out that well because Shawn was moving his arms and the fact that I had, I don't know how many fans behind me. I remember turning to my cousin, who was with me at the event, along with my dad and her dad, and saying how I could feel that the railing might collapse and fall. I didn't want anything to happen while Shawn was there. Luckily, nothing happened! I could still remember the marks I got from the railings but it was all worth it. The second time he came out went by quick, almost too quick. He came to the ring and assisted HHH with the Undertaker. I did my best and took all the photos I could. The show lasted almost or close to 4 hours. It ended up being televised in two nights. When I saw it on TV, (I recorded it of course! :) ) I was almost overwhelmed because I never realized that one evening can make me that happy. There's just something about Shawn that brings the arena to life, so to speak. The way he reacts to the crowd is unbelievable. It remains to be so unique!! The feeling I had then was different from the previous year because, this time around, I was that-close to getting to touch Shawn, or Shawn's arm. Maybe that will be the closest I will ever get and if that was, I have no regrets about it. I had a great time, and I know so did the others that were with me that night! I often think of what I will do if I ever get to meet Shawn. I came close to doing so. This past October, I was going to go to San Antonio to go to his autograph session but I wasn't able to make it. Maybe in the future, maybe it's not in the cards, who knows. That evening at the Horizon was enough for me. Of course, there were the other superstars that were there that night. Even a few that I really didn't care to see ... one in particular -- I won't mention his name, Sh
