WORK EXPERIENCE

Presently                University of Western Ontario
                              London, Ontario, Canada

I have just completed a teaching assistant position where I taught statistics labs for an introduction to statistics course. I am also doing private consulting work for the University hospital. This involves data manipulation, analysis and helping with the writing of the reports.

June,98-Feb,99    Victoria Hospital
                            London, Ontario, Canada

I was a research assistant who handled large data sets. I was the primary data analyst for two projects. I was using SPSS, SAS, EXCEL, MSWord and MSAccess. I also had to write a grant proposal for a project which got accepted on the first attempt.

Sept,97-Mar,99  University of Western Ontario
                           London, Ontario, Canada

I had a number of private statistical consulting  jobs. These jobs involved everything from designing projects, selecting appropriate samples from the population, data entry, manipulation and analysis.

Sept,96-Aug,98  Memorial University of Newfoundland
                           St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada

I had numerous research jobs which involved researching possible study areas, searching for data on the internet (Stats Canada), manipulating this data and then doing appropriate statistical tests. I was also responsible for writing reports on the results.

Mar,96-Sept,96  Newfoundland Hydro
                           St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada

I was an Economic Analyst for sixteen weeks. There, I was, once again, responsible for handling large datasets. I wrote three reports for the company in this short time period and learned a great deal about how data should be handled.
