Welcome to A Saintly Place

The Window

Welcome to A Saintly Place... This is my little site devoted to the New Orleans Saints. My name is Father Markus, and I've been a fan of the team since 1973.

Here you will find a wide variety of little items, However, you must have a java enabled browser to enjoy these sites, as most of these are my variations on java programs.

Here you will find a few fun things to try, such as a trivia game (until I find a better one - but it's pretty good for a freeware program.), a word search game, a quotations machine, and various other tidbits of information. The site is under going a huge variety of adaptations, additions, and modifications at any given time, so while you may find a link that doesn't work at the moment, please check back in the future, as it may or may not be back up and running later.

This page is also designed as your entrance to those of you who do not have frames... (see, I didn't forget you!) But please remember that the majority of this site was designed with frames in mind, so things may or may not be off at various times.

If you find something that is wrong with "A Saintly Place", please email Father Markus, and let me know, and I'll get cracking on repairing whatever damaged rooms are in the cathedral.

Sections upon which you can visit:
  • The Pulpit: My little sermon on whatever is going on at the time of my editing the site.
  • The Ambo: Quotations from Saints and about the Saints
  • The Garret: There are tons of things in the attic... but some of them won't do you any good in this word search game.
  • The Cathedral: The most important part of the temple goes to those who are Saints no longer on Earth, but watching from the heavenly fields.
  • The Vault: See if you can unlock the history of the Saints in this Quiz program.
  • The Nave: Various Saints Fans I know from around the net, with some of their logos from SaintsReport.com
  • The Diptych: My Guestbook
  • Bapistry: Want to dive in the fun? Here will be a page designed for my own Fantasy Football Leagues, (depending of course on how many I end up running!)
  • The Clerestory: Much like these windows give beauty to any church, so do our our own beautiful Saintsations give us something worth gazing at in admiration.
  • The Choir: Here you can find various songs (webpages) designed to share the light of all that is Saintly.
  • Stalls: Much like when a large gathering of clergy took place, so too can you find various information on the Saints players here.
  • The Dome: Information on the Superdome
