Overview of Program


  10:00 a.m.   Parade begins in San Francisco Chinatown


                          Parade route:
                                Begins at the Chinatown Arch (corner of Grant & Bush Streets)
                                Travels down Grant Avenue.
                                Turns left onto Pacific Avenue.
                                Turns left onto Stockton Street.
                                Travels down Stockton Street through tunnel to Union Square.
                                Circles the perimeter of Union Square.
                                Ends in Union Square by entering the park at the corner of Post and Powell Streets.



  11:30 a.m.   Union Square Program Begins


        11:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.                 Grand Opening, Dragon Dance & Lion Dance
        12:00 p.m. - 12:05 p.m.                 Ribbon Cutting & Photo Session
        12:05 p.m. - 12:10 p.m.                 President of W.T.C.S.F.:   Dr. William Chuang: Installation of New President Ceremony
        12:10 p.m. - 12:15 p.m.                 Honorable Mayor Willie Brown, Jr.
        12:15 p.m. - 12:20 p.m.                 Director General of Taipei Economic & Cultural Office in San Francisco:   Victor Seng
        12:20 p.m. - 12:40 p.m.                 Salutations by Special Guests
        12:40 p.m.                                     New President of W.T.C.S.F.:   Dr. Alex Feng
