The San Francisco California International Wushu Festival is sponsored by the World Traditional Chinese Sports Federation (WTCSF). |
"The World Traditional Chinese Sports Federation is an embracing
organization of the various branches of Wushu. Its purpose is to provide
service to all the Wushu branches, and to enable them to promote and to
demonstrate their unique specialties. WTCSF's mission is in the
unification, harmonization of Wushu, and in passing on the Wushu essence to
the future generations through the promotion of Wushu to the physical
education programs at various school districts." |

The First and Second San Francisco International Wushu Festivals were held at San Francisco Park and in the South Bay respectively. The Third and Fourth San Francisco California International Wushu Festivals were held at San Francisco's Union Square. The audiences were impressed by the performances of the kungfu masters and sifus during the Festival demonstrations and were able to learn about Chinese martial arts, culture and health from the booth exhibitors.
