Welcome to my secrets,tips, tricks and glitches-section here i will try to collect most of the secrets and also some glitches I found in Super Mario Land. Notice: I will not make a pipe-guide here on all pipes you can travel down because it takes to much time.
The number in parantese refers to in which stage the glitch/trick can be made in.

Glitch: Re-appearing coins and boxes after pipe visit... (All levels)
Let's say you see a pipe which you know you can go down through. Lets say you also see some coins or boxes right next to the pipe. First take the coins or boxes (make sure the pipe doesnt go off the screen) then after you've taken the coins/box go down the pipe. When you come up again from the pipe the coins/boxes that is close to the pipe(which you took before you got down the pipe) will no have re-appeared and you can take the coins or jump the box again!
Glitch: Too big... (All level with small tunnels)
Im sure you've come across these "tunnels" where mario cant go because his big. Often you'll have to find an enemy and "get small" first to acess those places, but i discovered i way so you can acess them anyway without losing your mushroom/flower. As you know you can jump while crouched (Control Pad Down+A-button), if you position mario a few paces away from the tunnel then crouch, and while crouching, lightly tap A-button you can make him jump so he'll get into the "tunnel. Notice: If you suceed and Mario is in the tunnel while he's big you'll have to jump forward while crouching to make him move. Also notice: Even though its a good trick Mario will move very slowly inside the "tunnel" if hes big so check your time now and then. Screenshots:
Secret: Hidden heart in first stage (1-1)
There's a hidden heart in the long line of grey boxes in the first stage. Jump up on the "?"-box and from there jump on the grey box that's marked on the picture.

Secret: Two elevators in world 1 stage 3... (1-3)
In the third level in the first world(the one your inside a pyramid) there are two hidden elevators which lets you access the "roof" of the level. The first one is just at the beginning of the stage just a little bit to the left. Jump in the "thin air" and the elevator will appear, jump on it and it will automatically take you to the "roof" of the stage. The second one is close to the first little lion you meet. First kill the little lion then break the grey box thats in the right side in the line of boxes. When the grey box is breaked jump one more time in "thin air" and it'll give you access to the second elevator. Screenshots:
Trick: Long-jump for easy goal. (2-2)
Near the end of the stage there is a "?"-block. Jump under it so you take the coin then jump ontop of the now empty-block. When standing ontop of the block do a long jump(hold B, move forward so you run then press A) and land on top of the moving pad. From there just jump into the goal. Screenshots:
Secret: Invisible blocks(2-2)
In world 2 stage 2 in the middle of the stage there are some invisible blocks. It looks like you will fall down in the water but don't worry you won't. Just follow the pictures to see exactly where.
Secret: Hidden heart in first stage in world three (3-1)
There's a hidden heart in world 3 stage one. It's hard to describe exactly where...but its in the middle of the stage. Jump in the air accordingly to the pictures below and you'll find it.
Secret: Hidden block to access roof(3-2)
In the beginning of the stage there's a hidden block that will let's you access the roof of the stage, just follow the picture.
