Wednesday saw the Miss Thriftway out on the water with Hydroplane Museum
member Ike at the
cockpit (3). Much action was seen on the water because most of the crowd shots were
completed.
"Let's see what's in here" (#12). Dr. Ken Muscatel, driver of the Notre
Dame, and David Williams
talk with a film crew member about the next scenerio. (#23) I always wondered what
it would be
like to be in a driver's shoes (i.e. uniform). Look out Bernie! Here comes
your worst nightmare!!
The afternoon was highlighted by the return of the Bud hull and then the arrival of
problems.
The Atlas (#32) and one of the cranes (#33) needed some help. Todd Yarling (Rick
Winston in
the movie driving the Bud) and his crew get ready in #35 while Jerry Hopp in Cat's Pride
(#36)
makes sure everything is in order before the five boat final re-enactment. Oops!
Who forgot the
screw in #45?
