Friday saw lots of action on the water. In #13, Kenny Washer, Bob
Schroeder, and Atlas Van Lines
vintage hull owner John Freeman take a breather while the hydroplanes make their rounds on
the
mighty Ohio River. Side note: If you were able to see these boats in action during
the past month,
you would agree with most that the Budweiser has the best roostertail on the course.
Shots 29 - 31 shows where (Fireman's Park) the crew chowed at lunchtime and the two chefs
that
fed us hungry souls. Mark Evans and Andy "10 Speed" Wahto conduct their
own race on wheels
instead of water (32 & 33). A thank you note found on Cat's Pride rudder (#34)
and a statement for
Todd Yarling in the cockpit of the Bud (#35). Dave Johnson & Ernie King talk
over details in the
Atlas hub (#38). Still more great action throughout the day.
