What To Bring:
1. You will need to bring comfortable athletic clothing for the camp. Please bring appropriate clothing
for warm weather.
2. Be sure to bring your glove, cleats (no metal), batting gloves, and bat. Catchers must bring their
own catching equipment! Be sure to label your own equipment with your name. You will be
responsible for your own equipment at all times.
3. In the case of inclement weather, a $30 refund will be given by August 25, 1999.
4. You may want to bring a few extra dollars to purchase refreshments or camp souvenirs.
5. Due to the limited camp time and space, pitchers will be required to provide their own catchers. This
can be a parent or teammate who is not participating in the recruiting camp as a catcher. The
pitchers will need their own catchers from approximately 3-5 p.m. Please keep in mind that the
catchers can have no contact with the recruiting college coaches.
6. Again, because of the limited camp time, it will be important to make the most of every situation. Be
aware, each athlete will have a limited number of swings, ground/fly balls, etc. Therefore, every
drill/skill you perform should be taken seriously and done to the best of your ability.
7. Our goal is to provide each student-athlete the opportunity to show-off as many softball skills as
possible in the two-hour camp time. Therefore, each athlete should run and stretch on her own prior
to the camp.
